Leroy Burman Family

The pictures on this page are of my father's family. My grandfather, Leroy married Florence Callender and settled in Susquehanna County of Pennsylvania. He worked as mechanic for the railroad company and ran a small farm.

We lived in the same house school house my father and siblings attended in Gelatt, Pennsylvania. One thing I do remember quite well about the house was that the single oil fuel pot stove was not quite sufficient to heat the house during the cold winters in northern Pa.

Grandpa Burman's ancestors came from several different countries. Click on this link to view a partial geneological chart of his family.
